Indoor Climbing Wall Idea

Thought I'd pass along this great idea for a kids playroom.   Found at Kajja.   Made of v shaped wood pieces.   Sand, paint and securely fastened with screws to the wall.   In new home construction it would be ideal to re-enforce the wall before installation.   Little boys especially, would love playing on this.   Read more at Kajja.

Handmade Rag Rug Tutorial

Years ago I found an eight foot circular, handmade Rag Rug for sale at a craft store.   It was beautiful, unfortunately, it was also sold.   Since then I have often thought it would be fun to try and make my own.   Today I finally found a free tutorial.   It looks easy and fun to do.   Luckily, I still have my collection of scrap fabric.  I'll be giving this a try.   Visit Sugar Bee for the free Video Tutorial.

Mid Century Clock Magnets

Download the PDF pattern,  Cut the clocks out and use Mod Podge to attach them to bottle caps.

Corn Husk Dolls

Long ago, Native American Indians made corn husk dolls for their children.

My sister and I experimented many times, trying to come up with the perfect pattern.

Acorn Pies has captured the art.
With this helpful tutorial,  now we can make these beautifully handcrafted
dolls for our little ones.
